How to Install the BEST Cab Light Ever | 1995 Ford F150 @kchilites
Don't Tell My Wife Racing sent this machined aluminum dome light to me for a installation video. It uses the KC Hilight Cyclone V2 and it really lights up the entire cab. The OEM dome line with the yellow lens was not bright enough and things would get lost against he black carpet in my truck.

    Tension pins are pretty cool. Kinda like race car floating calipers. I like to put some grease on mine to keep rust from bulding up just cause I went thru a puddle for the fun of it.

    How do these calipers differ from stock? I also have a pin for my 89 f150 so I’m curious if the previous owner did this upgrade and I’ve been oblivious.

      These differ from my stock calipers in that the stock calipers had slide pins that bolt on and the caliper moves on the pins.

    I really appreciate the effort you put in to these videos. I currently own a 1994 Ford F-150 Eddie Bauer edition that used to belong to my grandpa before he passed away. Currently sitting at 170,000 miles. He always took immaculate care of it and I made him a promise that I would continue to keep it in mint condition but still drive it often. Your videos have helped me tremendously with keeping that promise, so thank you very much. I hope you don’t stop making content!

      In fairness, though, I did include new tires, brake pads, brake rotors, tuneup, etc in that total. I like to think those are consumables that are part of a maintenance cycle. So not a once and done.

    Great timing! Getting ready to replace my shock towers and I was nervous about the brake line, was actually considering upgrading to these! Do you have any brand of coil springs or shocks you recommend? Looking for basic as this truck is just back and forth to Lowe’s vehicle for me!

    • @TheMinuteMasters
      @TheMinuteMasters 3 дні тому

      If you’re just doing runs to Lowe’s, any coil spring you can pick up from a local auto parts store will be just fine. Typical brands are AC Delco or Moog. For shocks, the best are Bilsteins. If those are out of your budget, KYB Gas A Just is another “monotube” shock. Monotube shocks are considered superior to the twin tube shocks that come stock from the factory. but in your application a Monroe twin tube shock will be just fine.

    Any chance we can get a video of door hinge pin replacement? I can't find any GOOD videos of someone doing it on our OBS. I do all the work on my truck, and that's one thing I'm afraid to do. Seems difficult to keep the door from falling off & reach everything

    • @TheMinuteMasters
      @TheMinuteMasters 3 дні тому

      So I have done those before but never film it. The sucky part is, all those pin replacements have worn out again. A hinge replacement is a better method but it’s best to remove the front fender to do it. Anyhow, this procedure is on my list.🤙

    Hey man hoping you could shed some light on an issue I’m having with my 1991 f150 5.8. I just replaced every part of the ac system (compressor, drier, evaporator, condenser, low pressure switch, lines and all) and put the correct amount of pag oil into the system via the compressor, condenser and evaporator core. When I fired up the truck and tried to load up the Freon the brand new compressor wouldn’t engage to suck up the Freon, and my first thought was to put a circuit tester on the compressor pigtail and I got nothing. Any ideas? I’m at a loss and nobody in my area has a clue

    • @TheMinuteMasters
      @TheMinuteMasters 4 дні тому

      Did you vacuum the system before charging to with Freon?

    • @PH-fg7gk
      @PH-fg7gk 3 дні тому

      @@TheMinuteMasters ok so I got it all sorted and charged up this morning and it blows decently cold when moving and is less cold when idling. Any idea why when I got over 60mph the fans suddenly switched to defrost/feet instead of the main fans? When I dropped my speed down to 55 it immediately switched back to normal

    • @TheMinuteMasters
      @TheMinuteMasters 15 годин тому

      @@PH-fg7gk Perfect! I’m glad that worked. As for the defrost/feet setting coming on, that means you have a vacuum leak in the engine bay at one of the vacuum lines. It usually the line that’s connected to the blend door actuator.

    They make faster louder severe duty clutch fans that can add extra hp to your vehicle. Computer operated Electric fans arent as reliable or accurate. Manual thermostat sensor fans are the way to go if using anything electric imo. I was using a 12v outlet fan in my 2005 f150 that would cause power gains when i turned up the power to the fan.

    • @TheMinuteMasters
      @TheMinuteMasters 4 дні тому

      The fuel level sending unit is normally attached to the fuel pump assembly. I think it’s easier just to replace the entire assembly rather than trying to replace pieces of it.
